LOOKS like the weather forecasters may have got it wrong.
The Spanish plume predicted to have us sizzling by the middle of the week might seems unlikely to arrive after all.
Temperatures in Somerset are predicted to reach 25degs C today (Monday, August 15) with a mix of cloud and sunshine.
The best day of the week should be tomorrow (Tuesday), when it should be sunny with temperatures of around 26degs C.
Then expect rain for the rest of the week, with temperatures dipping to 20degs C.
It's all a far cry from the 35degs sweltering heat brought about by a "Spanish plume" the Met Office was warning would hit the UK by the middle of the week.
