A WOMAN and two children remain in hospital after being hit by a car.
Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after 5.20pm at the Coast Road at the Unity Farm Holiday centre in Berrow.
A woman and two children had been hit by a car and were all airlifted to hospital suffering from serious injuries.
The three are now in a stable condition in hospital.
The injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life-changing at this moment.
The woman was airlifted to Southmead Hospital and the two children have been airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital.
A number of roads were closed while police enquiries continue. These include Coast Road, South Road, Coat Road and Hurn Lane.
Police have now launched a witness investigation.
