A 12-YEAR-OLD girl has been taken to hospital with head injuries following a crash near to a Highbridge School.
The collision happened near King Alfred School in Burnham Road at around 8.30am this morning.
The girl has been taken to Weston General with head injuries, a spokesperson for South West Ambulance Service said.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We were called at 8.54am to reports of a child in collision with a vehicle.
"The child sustained minor head injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution."
The road was blocked for sometime but is now clear.
