APPROVED: Burnham-on-Sea Swim Academy has had their expansion plans for the centre approved
EXPANSION plans for a Burnham-on-Sea swim academy can go ahead after their planning application was granted by Sedgemoor District Council.
Burnham-on-Sea Swim Academy on Berrow Road made the application in July 2015.
The application sets out their plans to build a new 5x5 learner pool, an extension to form a new entrance, two new fitness studios and a sauna.
It was approved on October 13 following a unanimous vote of support from the town council.
The expansion is set to cost £300,000 and will be a huge boost for the academy, creating a larger facility for the public to use.
