TWO people were rescued from a muddy ditch by firefighters in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Around 2am this morning (Saturday, October 22) firefighters from Burnham-on-Sea were called to Coast Road in Berrow where a man and woman were stuck in a ditch after falling down a muddy bank.
The fire crew used a triple extension ladder and rope to save the pair and they were tended to paramedics due to extreme cold, but had no further injuries.
