A MENTAL healthy set up in Burnham-on-Sea in memory of a teenager who took his own life is looking for people to join their Ambassadors Scheme.

In Charley's Memory was set up by the family of Charley Marks, who took his own life in 2014 after suffering with depression and anxiety.

The charity has now received funding from Sedgemoor District Council, and is looking for people over the age of 18 to join its Ambassadors scheme.

Ambassadors will receive training in Mental Health First Aid as well as resources, support and on-going mentoring.

Part of the role is to increase awareness of mental health issues among peers and help tackle the stigma around Mental Health issues.

Training will take place on December 10 and 17 from 9.30am- 4pm.
