A HIGHBRIDGE pole fitness group raised more than £1,900 for a Bristol special care baby unit during its annual charity showcase.
Studio Essence held its charity showcase at The Beachcomber in Brean on November 19 with 20 performers strutting their stuff to raise money for Cots for Tots.
Cots for Tots is a Bristol-based charity which raises money for lifesaving equipment and new facilities for babies across the South West.
Set around the theme of A Night at Musicals, all the students’ routines were performed to songs from West End musicals such as Wicked, Cats and many more.
The group raised a total of £1,978.17 on the night through showcase ticket sales, a raffle and a musical table quiz.
Studio Essence teaches pole fitness and aerial hoop lessons to people of all ages.
They also offer a drop in class called ‘Pole n Play’, where parents can bring their children along to join in the fun.
