BURNHAM and Highbridge Town Council's Policy and Finance Committee considered the full budget for 2017/18 on Monday January 16.
At the meeting, the committee decided the recommendation to full council on the February 6 is for a precept of £556,543.
This equates to an increase of £3.92 a year for Band D property.
The increase of £31,563 will make up £20,000 lost in support grant, add £7,000 in budget for youth service provision.
The remaining increase of just £4,563 allows for inflation and for the town council to continue delivering the services it provides.
Minutes and recommendations from the Policy & Finance Committee will be considered at the town council meeting on Monday February 6.
