A BURNHAM-on-Sea community group will be holding community drop in sessions this March to help young and old people in the town.
Hands of Change based in Burnham-on-Sea are setting up the group in the town to encourage residents in the town to be more social.
A spokesman for Hands of Change said:These sessions are for everyone in the community young and old.
"People can meet up with current friends and make new ones too we hope.
"Some ideas we already have for activities are a children's clothes swap, guest speakers and we as always are happy to act as sign posts for other community groups helping people find the information they need.
"Our host volunteers next week will be using some of their time to start learning British sign language.
"We look forward to seeing these sessions adapt to how the community want them to run."
The first drop in session will be on March 1 from 9am to 11am and will run on alternate weeks thereafter at the Bay Centre.
