CHILDREN from Berrow Primary School had a flipping good time as they took part in a house pancake race.

Students divided into their house groups, coloured their pancakes and raced up and down the school playground in a relay race on February 21.

Pupils from the school’s four house groups, Betelgeuse, Libra, Orion and Capella donned bibs with their house colours on as they took part in the event.

After a close race Orion house stormed to victory and clinched first place.

A spokesman for the school said: “Congratulations to Orion who won the house relay pancake race despite the wet conditions.

“The main thing is the children all enjoyed themselves and each team was well supported.”
