THE organisers of Burnham-on-Sea wine club announced they will be holding a gin tasting event.
Participants will be learning about the history of gin making and tasting gins from around the world.
One of the organisers of the event said: "We will be wandering through the history of gin making, tasting gins that illustrate the changes, trying some gin and food matching, exploring the science behind a perfect G&T and then handing over to you for some gin cocktails and leaving you with the secrets of how to make great tasting gin at home.
"We will be sharing some handcrafted and award-winning local gins and others from around the world, giving you a chance to try something different, learn something new and have a gin-tastic time."
Tickets are on sale at a price of £25.
The event is on March 18 at 6.30pm at the Avenue Tennis Club in Burnham-on-Sea.
