PUPILS at schools across Somerset ditched their uniforms and dressed in red to raise money for Comic Relief.
Children from Mark First and Pre-school Academy, Berrow Primary School and St Andrew’s Junior School in Burnham-on-Sea were among those who took part in a range of activities and wore red clothing for Red Nose Day to raise money for the charity.
A spokesman for Mark First and Pre-School Academy, said: “Many children paid to enter our Comic Relief joke competition earning a special red ‘emoji’ sticker if they got enough giggles.
“Everyone enjoyed laughing and having fun while raising lots of money to help others.”
