STUDENTS from Burnham-on-Sea Infant School showed off their adventurous side during a play morning.
The pupils had access to lots of different materials including poles, plastic barrels and netting which helped them create dens and shelters at the play morning on March 18.
A spokesman for Burnham Infant School said: “The children had a great morning and really had fun making up their own games and activities.
“We do this about three times a year and it gives the children a chance to escape from school for a bit and be more creative.
“They had access to dressing up costumes, materials to build forts and dens and lots of arts and craft materials and it is lovely to see the students just let loose and enjoy playing.
“We think its important for children to have this time because playing outside and exploring allows the students to access their imagination and go a bit wild.
“The event was a huge success and all of the children had a really good time.”
