FIRE: Car fire on the A38 Cross near Axbridge
A CAR was severely damaged after catching fire.
Police and fire crews were called to the A38 Cross near Axbridge at 1.22am this morning, April 11.
One fire engine from Chedder was sent to the fire, and found a 4x4 well alight.
The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.
The vehicle was severely damaged by fire and the cause was accidental.
Duty of care was left with the police and the owner.
