ASSAULT: Avon and Somerset Police appealing for witnesses after Weston-Super-Mare assault
A MAN has been left with a large cut to his back after an assault in a Somerset town.
The incident happened on Saturday evening (May13) in Weston-Super-Mare and he remains in hospital.
An incident involving two men allegedly took place in the fields at the rugby ground end of Drove Road. This was followed by a second incident in Drove Road.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released under investigation.
Avon and Somerset Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Drove Road/Sunnyside Road area on Saturday night between 7-7.30pm who may have have information.
