RAIDED: A man has been arrested after hundreds of pounds in cash and a quantity of heroin was found after a drugs raid in Abingdon Street
A MAN has been arrested after an early morning drugs raid at a property in Burnham-on-Sea.
Police raided a property in Abingdon Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning (May 16) and seized hundreds of pounds in cash and a quantity of heroin.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We executed a drugs warrant and seized a quantity of heroin and a large amount of cash.
"As a result, a man in his 40’s from London was arrested on suspicion of intent to supply Class A drugs.
"He has since been released under investigation."
