Police take 'dangerous items off the streets' in Somerset town
IN the week a Somerset town hit the international headlines, police have been showing some 'weapons' they have taken possession of.
A tweet from Weston-super-Mare Police shows an officer with three mean looking items.
The tweet says: "3 more dangerous items off the streets #keepingyousafe."
There is no explanation as to where the items came from or how they came to be in the police's possession.
The seaside town was in the news earlier this week when Darren Osborne, who lived there until recently, was arrested in connection with an incident outside Finsbury Park mosque, in London, in which one person died and several others were injured after being hit by a van.
