MORE THAN 120 static caravan sites could be built in Highbridge to help house Hinkley Point workers.
West Country Park Homes has submitted plans to change the use of land at Edithmead Leisure Park and Homes on Bristol Road for two years to allow for the accommodation of Hinkley Point workers.
The company is seeking permission for 124 pitches, 74 for static caravans and 50 for 'touring', to be used as holiday lets or accomodation for Hinkley workers.
There are also plans for a new shop on the site.
Comments are welcome on the project until August 4 after which a decision will be made by Sedgemoor District Council.
