SIXTH formers from The King Alfred School enjoyed a week of work experience in preparation for university.
From July 3 to July 7, students undertook work experience at a variety of different businesses across the UK.
Among the firms hosting students were Rolls Royce in Bristol, the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff, Queens Park Rangers Football Club, SHH Chartered Architecture and Interior Design practice and Peter Millard & Partners art consultants in London.
Some students chose to stay closer to home and took on placements at Somewhere House Rehabilitation Centre in Burnham, Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Trust and primary schools like St Andrew’s and Churchfield School.
A spokesman for King Alfred’s said: “The students had a very productive week on their work experience placements.
“We have had a good amount of positive feedback from students and they all seemed to enjoy their work placements.”
