THERE'S an unusual look about the sky as Somerset prepares for the arrival of the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia.

There's a misty reddish look to the sky, while the sun has also turned a red colour.
The explanation from the MetOffice is: "It's generally the low level sun hitting the layers of cloud. There may be a small amount of dust included in this."

The county is set for high winds later this afternoon when the tail end of the storm makes landfall.
