A SCARY 12ft sculpture of a witch entertained motorists as they drove past a Mark farm.
Victoria Dimond, a farmer at Poplar Farm on Harp Road, decided to build the Halloween-themed sculpture out of a silage bale to raise money for a children’s charity.
“At the farm we bought purple silage wraps and part of the money goes to Well Child, a charity which cares for sick children and I wanted to do something creative,” she said
“I made the witch out of wasted materials on our farm and put it on the grass for two weeks from October 16.”
The hair-raising sculpture attracted motorists’ attention with many stopping to take pictures.
She added: “There are a lot of horrible things happening in the world and I thought this would put a smile on people’s faces.”
