TWO men have been charged in connection with two robberies and one attempted robbery in Weston-super-Mare.

The first was an attempted robbery at Domino’s Pizza in Boulevard in the early hours of Wednesday, November 8. 

This was followed by two further robberies on members of the public in Worth Place and South Terrace.

Michael Williams, 22, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of robbery, attempted robbery, affray, possession of an offensive weapon and theft.

Adam Nathan Gregory, 19, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of robbery, attempted robbery, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

Both men appeared at North Somerset Magistrates’ Court on Monday (November 13) and were remanded in custody until the next hearing at Bristol Crown Court on December 11.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We’ve charged two people in connection with robberies in Weston-super-Mare earlier this month.

"We’re investigating three offences which are being treated as linked.

"Four other people have been arrested in connection with this investigation.

"They have all been released under investigation while enquiries continue."
