HUNDREDS of visitors flocked to a wedding fair in The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre.

More than 25 exhibitors showed off their products at the fair on Sunday, February 18 to help couples start planning for their big day.

There were live performances from local musicians Dennis Salmon and Jack Millier and the first 100 entrants were given a free goody bag.

Nick Tolley, organiser of the event, which was the first of its kind in Burnham-on-Sea, said it was a huge success.

"The day went really well, from start to finish we welcomed a steady flow of visitors, mainly brides to be with their families," Mr Tolley said.

"There were hundreds of people coming in to The Princess Theatre and at least 85 brides looking for ideas to plan their perfect day.

"The auditorium was wall to wall with fantastic trade stands and everybody was kept busy chatting to people, demonstrating their products and skills.

"All the traders were very pleased with the day and were taking bookings, deposits and follow ups all day long."
