THE sun shone in Burnham-on-Sea as scores of visitors enjoyed The Friends of Burnham War Memorial Hospital’s annual garden party.
On Sunday (July 10) more than 50 people enjoyed ice creams and browsed numerous stalls at the event in the hospital gardens, in Love Lane, which was held to raise money for the friends group.
Burnham and Highbridge mayor Cllr Bill Hancock and mayoress Frances Hancock, deputy mayor Cllr Andy Brewer, and town crier Alistair Murray attended the event.
There was a cake stall, a craft stall, a table top sale and a number of activities on throughout the day.
