SOMERSET is set to get wet later, with showers forecast for the late afternoon.
In their South West summary, Met Office said: "A bright start for many, although cloud and outbreaks of rain will already be pushing into western Cornwall.
"The rain turning showery as it moves east during the afternoon, possibly heavy and thundery in places. Temperatures lower than recent days."
The temperature is set to peak at 24C, before falling to a minimum of 9C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "A fresher feel for many on Tuesday, with variable amounts of cloud and sunny spells, but with the chance of a few showers early on. Feeling warm in the sunshine."
The maximum temperature is due to be 23C.
