A MIXED day of weather is in store for Somerset.
Forecasters predict it will be a sunny day across the county but warned that the warm weather could trigger thunderstorms.
Temperatures will reach a high of 23 degrees before falling to 17 degrees overnight.
A spokesman for the Met Office, said: "After a warm sunny morning for all, Cornwall and north Devon will cloud over in the afternoon, bringing patchy rain here by evening.
"Eastern counties will become very warm, perhaps warm enough to trigger the odd thunderstorm. Maximum temperature 26 °C."
