A YOUNG man was arrested in connection with an arson attack following an anonymous tip off to the police.
Officers are now trying to trace the informant and any other witnesses following the incident in Highbridge last week.
The incident involved four bottles of flammable liquid being thrown over a hedge into a building site in Newton Road in the early hours of last Thursday (August 2).
The bottles landed near to security staff.
The suspect was chased towards Apex Park, but he then disappeared from sight in a nearby housing estate.
A man in his 20s was later arrested on suspicion of arson with intent.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help out enquiries.
"We would particularly like the person who had previously contacted us with information which helped us arrest the suspect to contact us."
