PATIENTS at Burnham and Berrow Medical Centre will not be able to see their doctor this week as GP illness has meant the surgery can only see patients with emergencies.

In a post on their website today (August 15) the surgery on Love Lane told patients they will not be taking appointments for the rest of the week and thanked them for their understanding.

A spokesman for Burnham and Berrow Medical Centre, said: "Due to GP absences beyond our control we are able to deal with patients with emergencies only from Wednesday, August 15 through to Friday, August 17 inclusive.

"Thank you for your understanding at this time."
