POLICE are appealing for information after a quantity of cash was stolen from a club in Burnham-on-Sea.
On Saturday (August 25) officers received reports of a man going behind the bar at the club on Victoria Street at around 12.30pm and police said he took a tin containing a quantity of cash.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We can confirm that we received reports of man going behind the bar at a club in Victoria Street, Burnham-on-Sea at about 12.30pm on Saturday August 25.
"He took a collecting tin containing a quantity of cash.
"Police enquiries into the incident are continuing.
"Anyone with information should call us on 101, quoting reference 5218190918."
