DEATH-defying circus acts are in full swing at a Brent Knoll garden centre.
Performers from Paulo’s Circus Americano have been leaving the crowds at Sanders GardenWorld open-mouthed with their awesome stunts.
This year’s show features a new line up of acts including the Vegas Boys from America who perform the ‘wheel of death’ and trapeze act ‘Duo Stratosphere’.
Paul Carpenter, circus spokesman, said: “The wheel of death is the most dangerous of all circus acts.
“There are no safety devices used so the Vegas Boys will be risking their lives as they run, skip, jump and walk blindfolded around the giant wheel as it spins them high into the roof of the big top.
“As well as the Vegas Boys and Duo Stratosphere, the other new acts in the 2008 line-up will include Wild West knife throwers, The Nevadas, the Paulo Sisters with their High School Hula Hoops and a special appearance from Beaky, the UK’s only performing duck.”
The circus will run at the garden centre until January 4.
