On the hunt for Carnival royalty

THE search is on to find this year's Highbridge and Burnham Carnival queen and two princesses.

The three lucky girls will lead the procession at the November 9 spectacle and present awards to the winning floats on the glitzy presentation night.

Burnham Lions and the town's chamber of trade will be jointly hosting the competition, which will be held on July 31 at the Ritz Social Club.

Entrants for the queen must be 15 or over while prospective princesses must be between seven and 15 and all should live within six miles of Burnham or Highbridge.
