A £10,000 reward is being offered for information about Joanne Yeates’ murder.
Crimestoppers offered the enhanced reward today (Wednesday) - for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for her death.
The announcement comes just a day after a post mortem examination confirmed the 25-year-old landscape architect had been strangled and a murder enquiry was launched.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Jones, who is leading the investigation into her death, said several people had been seen or heard around Joanna’s flat on the night of her disappearance on Friday, December 17.
He said: "We know that there were a number of people in the Canynge Road area on the night of Joanna's disappearance.
"We want to hear from any of these people or anyone else with information that can help the enquiry.”
He said Joanna’s family had said they had confidence the person who killed their daughter would be identified.
Ms Yeates’ snow covered body was found in Longwood Lane, Failand, on Christmas day.
Anyone with information can contact police on 0845 456 7000 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
