CEREMONIES to mark Armed Forces Day will be held in Burnham and Highbridge this weekend.
First, the towns' Mayor Ken Smout will attend a flag-raising ceremony outside Highbridge Community Hall at 9am on Saturday, June 23.
Then, at 9.30am, Mr Smouth will attend a second ceremony by the flag pole next to the junction of High Street and Marine Drive in Burnham.
It is hoped representatives from local cadet units, the Royal British Legion and RAFA will attend, as well as Burnham and Highbridge Chambers of Trade.
Members of the public are also welcome.
