Council looks to continue Olympic legacy
STUDENTS inspired by Britain’s top Olympic cyclists can take advantage of an offer from Somerset County Council.
The Saracen Tufftrax bikes will be available to students aged 16 to 19 for just a third of their normal retail value.
The bikes, which normally cost £279, are serviced by professional mechanics and come with lights and locks. Students can borrow them for £40, plus a £75 deposit.
The College Bike Loan Scheme is accepting applications until August 23 – for details see movingsomersetforward.
