A FACTORY expansion which could create 36 jobs has prompted a flood of complaints.

Some 53 people have written to Sedgemoor District Council opposing Sustainable Drainage Systems’ bid to build a factory on the Castle Mills Industrial estate in Biddisham.

Many of the objectors say the scheme is too large a development for the area – supporters say it will boost the economy.

A council planning officer has recommended the scheme is refused at a meeting tomorrow (September 18).
