'Arsonist' hits homes in Parsons Road, Highbridge
AN arsonist is suspected of starting a large fire which damaged two homes early this morning.
One fire crew from Burnham was sent out at around 2.15am to the scene in Parsons Road, Highbridge.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival, fire crews requested a further appliance due to a large fire at the rear of domestic properties involving several sheds and fencing. “Two sheds, one brick bin store and 20 metres of fencing were destroyed by fire.”
The spokesman said two houses and a neighbouring garage block were damaged, adding: “The police also attended due to suspected arson.”
