AROUND 1,200 people have signed a petition calling for a structure to stay on Burnham Pier.
Sedgemoor District Council said a conservatory housing The Candy Stall broke planning rules but Pier Pavilion owner Louise Parkin is now seeking retrospective planning permission to keep it.
