THREE girls have raised more than £100 towards helping to repair the damage left by a fire at their school.
Alice, Lauren and Caitlin, who travel to Hugh Sexey Middle School in Blackford from Rooksbridge, Burnham and Loxton, raised £125 by selling cakes.
The school has re-opened after a fire broke out in an electrical cabinet on January 23 – damaging two classrooms.
The Year Seven girls made and sold cakes to friends and relatives around their villages in between hours of homework.
