Somerset Business Awards deadline looms
7:30am Friday 23rd August 2013 in Burnham
THERE are just a few days left for companies to enter the prestigious Somerset Business Awards.
The Weekly News-backed awards, in their ninth year, celebrate outstanding business success in the county, and organisers say previous winners have seen their reputations and profit figures boosted.
Mike Lind, from Monkton Elm Garden and Pet Centre, said: “Winning the Albert Goodman Family Business of the Year award last year propelled our business forward and gave us an amazing amount of recognition and press attention – which is fantastic.
“Even now, our customers and suppliers congratulate us and ask about what we’ve done since.”
Shortlisted businesses will be invited to a glittering black tie event, in the newly refurbished Westland Conference and Leisure Complex, in Yeovil, on October 24.

The closing date is August 30, at 5pm.
