CIDER drinkers singing at apple trees in the rain managed to raise over £2,000 for breast cancer support.

Wassailing at Rich’s Cider Farm this year, organised in conjunction with Burnham’s Rotary Club, raised £2,050 for BUST, Breast Cancer Unit Support Trust.

Almost 300 people attended the traditional Somerset event, which included entertainment from The Mangled Wurzels and the Bob Darch Road Show.

BUST raises money to support innovation and purchase of new technology to help catch breast cancer, such as state-of-the-art scanners.
