THE Environment Agency will answer questions on the winter flooding at a meeting on Friday, July 25.
Sedgemoor District Council’s community and corporate scrutiny committees will be hosting a joint scrutiny committee meeting attended by the Environment Agency from 10am to 1pm at Bridgwater House, King Square.
The first session, from 10am to 11am, will look at how Sedgemoor District Council performed throughout the emergency phase of the flooding.
The second session, from 11.15am to 1pm, will see the Environment Agency answer specific questions from a consultation with the community.
The committee wants to hear from people affected by the flooding and invites them to attend.
To address the committee you must register to speak with the democratic services team by noon today (Thursday) – the team can be contacted by email at democratic.services@sedgemoor.gov.uk, by calling 01278-435739 or by visiting Bridgwater House.
