TWO in three dementia sufferers said they had felt anxious or depressed recently.
PEOPLE with dementia are suffering because of an “artificial divide between health and social care”, says the Alzheimer’s Society.
It released figures this week which show 84,412 people are living with dementia in the South-West.
A report found nearly two-thirds (61%) of those with dementia said they had felt anxious or depressed recently, while seven out of ten were also living with another medical condition or disability.
