A FUNDRAISING event in memory of Georgia Lavender will be held next month to raise funds for the ambulance charity which tried to save her life.
Seb Doolan, a friend of Georgia’s, will be staging a night of music in memory of the 23-year-old who suffered from cystic fibrosis and who died last month.
He said: “She always attended local music events I held in Burnham and attended the event the night before she slipped in to a coma that later took her life.
I thought it was only fitting to hold a charity event dedicated to her memory.”
All proceeds from the event will go towards Somerset Air Ambulance, the charity chosen by Georgia’s parents.
The ticketed event will be held on Friday, November 14, at Jack’s Café on the seafront.
Seb, who grew up in Burnham and is now an established DJ in Derby, has used his contacts in the music industry to enlist a number artists and DJs to perform on the night and is seeking sponsors for the evening in an effort to ensure that 100% of the proceeds go to Georgia’s family’s chosen charity.
