A WOMAN was arrested in connection with a stabbing in a Burnham street.
The incident happened in High Street next to Lloyds Bank at 7.20pm on Tuesday, November 18.
Police set up a cordon around the area and the Esso petrol station was also sealed off by officers as part of their investigation.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his arm.
“The injuries are not thought to be life threatening.”
Police arrested a 40-yearold woman but she was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
It was rumoured that a witness saw a trail of blood leading along Princess Street and toward the Esso petrol station.
The area was re-opened shortly after 9pm once a forensic team had completed gathering evidence at the scene.
