A FIRE appliance from Burnham, one from Weston and one from Bridgwater as well as the water carrier from Bridgwater were sent to a fire in South Road, Brean this morning.
Crews received the call just after 2am to reports of a fire caused by an electrical fault.
Two BA wearers used one hose reel jet and carbon dioxide extinguishers to put the fire out.
Positive pressure ventilation was used to ventilate the building.
Western Power attended to isolate the electrics.
The fire was contained to an electrical cupboard in a restuarant causing moderate fire damage, severe smoke damage and also some minor smoke damage to flats above.
