MEMBERS of Burnham’s Moose International presented a cheque to the RNLI at their meeting earlier this month.
The group managed to gather the money through an organised whisky raffle to raise funds for RNLI flood rescue.
Mike Lang, Moose governor, presented the cheque for £45 to Mary Summers of the RNLI.
Mary said: “Most people think the RNLI just saves lives at sea but they have flood rescue teams ready for immediate response when required, using specially trained lifeboat crew from various lifeboat stations.”
