THERE was a Badger Bonanza at Secret World when it reopened to the public over the Easter weekend.
The cutest badger cubs were joined by baby foxes, squirrels and rabbits and there was even face painting for the baby humans.
More than 6,000 people attended over the Easter weekend with around 2,000 on Easter Monday alone.
One woman travelled all the way from Liverpool to see the eight-week-old badger cubs.
A spokeswoman for Secret World said: “We thought she was on holiday but she said she’d come down specifically to see the badgers.
“It was wonderful to welcome so many visitors and we even ran out of ice-cream.”
Secret World receives cubs from all over the country due to its unique rescue and release schemes.
The cubs on show at the weekend will be released into the wild in the autumn.
“We would like to appeal to anyone who has land to become involved with our safe release scheme for badgers, otters, owls, foxes and deers,” added the spokeswoman.
“We would like to see more animals released back into the wild so please get in touch if you can help.”
