TV gardening personality returns to centre

TV gardening personality Christine Walkden is returning to Sanders GardenWorld in April to talk to visitors and host a book signing to tie in with her new BBC series.

The plant expert (pictured here with centre assistant Caroline Ruse) stars in BBC2's Christine's Garden and will be at the Brent Knoll business on April 23 to chat to customers and autograph copies of her latest tome.

Sanders managing director Peter Burks said: "Christine visited the garden centre twice last year and filmed snippets of her series here.

"Christine's previous visits have been very successful with our customers.

She was able to share her extensive knowledge and pass on tips to budding gardeners - we are looking forward to her return."
