FAMILIES gathered to enjoy fun, games and music at Burnham’s Lighthouse Inn on Saturday at a charity fundraising spring fayre.

More than 400 people came out to enjoy the fine weather and flowing drinks at the pub’s event to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s and Hillview Carnival Club.

Stalls included crafts, brica- brac and facepainting with youngsters also enjoying a bouncy castle. Event organiser Mandy Pike said: “It went really well.

“Everyone had a great time and we’ve had some really great feedback from it. “I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came down and also to Treats Pizza for donating the bouncy castle.

“We’re hoping to do another event on the August Bank Holiday - this one was quite last minute so we’ll be able to put more planning into the next one.”
