A BID to build a tidal lagoon in Bridgwater Bay has been given a boost by the Prime Minister During the first Prime Minister’s Questions of the new Parliament this week, David Cameron said that “tidal power has significant potential” and welcomed foreign investment by the company aiming to create the green energy generating development.
Six tidal lagoons are in various stages of planning and development across the nation.
There are hopes that the lagoon could create a large number of jobs.
